• Review: A Highlander is Coming to Town (Highland, Georgia #3) by Laura Trentham

Yes I know it’s barely fall and I should be gearing up for all the spooky and mystery reads (don’t worry I am!) right now, but yes this is a Christmas book that you see here today! Every year I always say to myself ‘I am going to wait until Nov 1 before reading any Christmas books’ and every year I manage to squeeze one or two in before all the horror and ghost stories. This book sounded like it would be a quick, easy, and festive read that I could burn through in a day or two and it was exactly that and I finished it feeling satisfied and…

  • Review: The Little Bookshop on the Seine (The Little Paris Collection #1) by Rebecca Raisin

It’s the last day of the decade and I can’t believe a new year and decade is already here! I am closing out this year with a fun little romance number here that is set in Paris. This book wasn’t a hard sell for me. I mean come on…..a bookshop romance set in Paris with a little holiday flair? No brainer right there. Everything I hoped to get out of this book, I got. I hoped for romance, a happy ending, and a fun trip through Paris—check, check, check. I especially was looking forward to revisiting some of my favorite things about Paris with this one and I totally felt…

  • Review: 25 Days ‘Til Christmas by Poppy Alexander

As we headed into the holiday season, this book was all over my social media and the adorable cover had my name all over it! It sounded so great and I wanted to read it. I had it on hold at my library but at as December loomed closer, it became clear that I would likely not get this book until some time next spring. One of my favorite IG bookstagramers, Saturday Nite Reader, happened to post a photo of this book and I comment on in and like a Christmas miracle, she gifted me this book! I was to thrilled and started it immediately when it arrived!

  • Review: Christmas from the Heart by Sheila Roberts

Sheila Roberts is another prolific writer with a huge fan base and a number of titles to her name. I have only read a couple of her books but found them to be enjoyable and light. I wanted something relaxing after coming off of a few fast pace reads as well as something to get me into the holiday spirit….this book totally fit the bill. I originally only did a special feature for this one as I wasn’t sure that I could fit it in to my review schedule, but I thought it sounded so fun that I decided to make some room and squeeze it in for the holidays.

Brenda Novak has written a number of books and while I haven’t read any of her books yet, there is something to be said for a long standing author who has a large fan base such as this. Since the holiday season is officially underway, I thought it would be fun to share a little sneak peak of her latest book, Christmas in Silver Springs, which sounds like it’s going to be incredibly charming and perfect for the holidays! From what I understand, each book can be a read as a standalone so if you wanted to get in on this lovely little holiday romance, but worried that because it’s…

  • Review: A Christmas Gathering: A Novel (Christmas Stories #17) by Anne Perry

Can you guys believe this is my first ever Anne Perry novel? I am shocked that I haven’t read this author before! She has written a ton of mysteries and they all seemed like they would be right up my alley. But sometimes with well established series, it can be intimidating to just jump in on say book 10 and with Perry’s mystery series, they are all well established and long running. When this one arrived on my desk for review, I had to do a little research first. Number one, I wanted to read this book because I love the cover and it was more novella length, but I…
