On my blog I pride myself in exploring multiple different genres of books and I am so thankful that I have maintained that for so long. I have discovered so many new and exciting books that are out of my comfort zone or just plain new to me authors that I normally wouldn’t have discovered on my own.
Jennifer Ryan’s new book The Me I Used to Be is one of those books I might have missed and am so glad that I didn’t! Ryan is a new to me author and has written a number of cowboy romances as well as more contemporary romances and women’s fiction.
Her latest book sounds like it’s going to be quite the read and it’s available now for your reading pleasure so don’t miss out on this fun breezy romance/womens fiction novel! Pour a glass of wine and settle in for escapism at its best!

After serving time for a crime she didn’t commit, Evangeline returns home to a cold welcome. Her mother blames her for her father’s death, and her brothers want her out of their way. She’ll have her reckoning…
Her only ally: the cop who sent her away. Chris Chambers is positive she went to prison to protect someone else. He strikes a deal: help him track down the real criminals in exchange for clearing her name. But the closer Evangeline and Chris get to exposing the truth—and to each other—the deeper Evangeline is drawn into a dangerous sting that could finally bring her justice…or put her dreams on hold permanently.
She’ll fight for the life she always wanted…
Everyone’s lives moved on while Evangeline’s stood still. Now she has a chance to rebuild her family ranch, her life, and expose the people who put her away, so she can become the woman she was always meant to be (summary from Goodreads).
