When I first say this one, I thought it sounded like a fun little sexy read perfect for wedding season. I couldn’t fit it on my review schedule but I did feature it on my IG and then I started reading a little.
Next thing I knew, I was a few chapters in and wanted to share with you what I thought so far! I had to set it down since I had a couple of other books coming up to read but I am definitely going to come back and pick this one up soon!

First Impression Review
Harlequin is the gold standard of romances in my opinion. I have been a big fan of Harlequin and the Harlequin DARE part of the Harlequin publishing house features steamy and sexy titles just like this one and it starts out great!
Right away I felt invested in the characters and their story. Mikelina is a character that I think most female readers could relate to or at least sympathize with. I enjoyed her and thought she was fun but it’s Bastian that steals the show in this book.
Bastian is sexy and fierce but yet has a tender side. He’s everything a romantic hero should be but also has his own imperfections. With just the few chapters that I read I was eager to read more. If you love romances that sizzle then you should have this book on your radar!
