I had the pleasure of reading and reviewing this book a few months back and it was a wonderful read. Even though I was hungry through most of it, I loved the story and recommended it to a ton of people!

I was thrilled to see that Amy with HFVBT was having this book on tour this summer and I was eager to once again spread the word about this wonderful read.

You all know how much I love a fun historical mystery and Kensington Publishing has a bevy  of fabulous authors to choose from. And I have read a number of them and consistently enjoy many of their authors.

So when this one came up for review, I was counting on Kensington Publishing to not let me down! This author is new to me and even though it’s the second in a series, it is only the second book so I hoped that I hadn’t missed too much by starting on book 2 rather than book 1.

I think that many of you know how much I love historical fiction by now, so when this book arrived in my mailbox I was thrilled! Isn’t that cover just to die for?! And I have been seeing this book pop up, not just on my social media, but on many different lists as one of the summers hottest historical fiction releases.

Today I am thrilled to share with all of you that THE ORPHAN’S SONG is officially out in the world and ripe for the reading. Summer reading is in full swing and I can’t tell you how many good books have popped up on my radar these last couple of months! I love seeing all the bright, springy covers and this one is one of my favorites!

That cover looks like it fell right out of a Martha Stewart magazine and I absolutely love it and it screams ‘summer time’ to me.

Mary Alice Monroe is a new to me author, but she has written a number of women’s fiction novels with the majority being summer time focused. This book has had a ton of advanced praise and is out now, so I wanted to make sure it was on your radar before everyone heads off on vacation, because this is a book you don’t want to leave behind in your beach bag!
