This was my most anticipated read of the year. I had it on pre order for months and I even got the Audible edition because I knew I would never be able to put it down!
The book arrived and it was beautiful and it has been all over my IG feed because I simply love it.
I also loved Erin Morgenstern’s debut novel, The Night Circus, and I couldn’t imagine a world in which I wouldn’t feel the same about this book. So the fateful day came and I downloaded the Audible edition and started reading the day after it was released…..and finally almost 6 weeks later I simply just had to admit that it was going to be a DNF for me. When I started reading this one, I didn’t know that it was part of a series. I read the summary and I thought it sounded interesting and I was totally on board with reading it.
With the holidays right around the corner and I’ve been busy sharing all kinds of fun holiday themed reads with you guys and I wouldn’t feel right about not sharing this book again!
Charlotte Lucas always seemed like the least interesting character in Pride and Prejudice to me.
Here we are, the last review for the last book in this horribly addicting series. As I mentioned in my review of The Cruel Prince, this was a series that I was sure that I wouldn’t like so thus I avoided it like the plague.
