Special Feature: Perfectly Impossible by Elizabeth Topp

This book was an Amazon First Reads last month and has been getting a lot of rave reviews! I love the cover and I think the story sounds super cute!

A little bit womens fiction, a little bit chick lit, and a little bit of romance sounds like a great mix for a fun light read going into the winter holiday season! It sounds like it’s going to be a funny book with lots of promise from this debut author!

I couldn’t fit this one into my review schedule for the fall but I am excited to share all about it today on my blog with you guys! If you love funny rom-coms with heart, I think this is going to be a great read for you!

Review: The Residence by Andrew Pyper

Election Day was yesterday and I thought what better way to celebrate our right to vote by reading this horror novel about the White House and it’s ghosts.

Regardless of who you voted for or if you are happy or sad about the outcome, this book is going to give you all the thrills and chills that politics are kind of known for and the best part is you don’t have to turn on the TV to get the thrills and chills…..open this book instead. It’s just as scary as modern politics.

I was really drawn into this one because of the premise. I loved the setting and thought the White House brought a completely different vibe to the novel. If you love ghosts stories with a little different flavor, then this is the novel for you!

Special Feature: The Forgotten Sister by by Nicola Cornick

If cannot believe that I haven’t read anything by Nicola Cornick before. I have many of her books on my shelf but I haven’t read one of them yet.

She is one of those authors that I keep meaning to read because so many people love her books and I hate missing out on great reads, but for some reason I get distracted by other books and just keep missing hers!

Well today I am thrilled to share a little excerpt from her latest book with you guys today! I am hoping to read this one a little while later this fall, while this little excerpt might only be part of the prologue, it sounds great and I am really excited for another new historical fiction author to check out!

Special Feature and Excerpt: The Gentleman and the Thief (Proper Romance Victorian #2) by Sarah M Eden

I have been in the mood for a proper Victorian romance lately! I mean the last 4-6 weeks all I have been reading are murder mysteries and horror so a romance would be a nice little break.

This romance sounds like it’s going to be charming and fun and today I have a lovely excerpt up on my blog to check out!

After reading this little blurb, I can hardly wait to read this one! Sadly I couldn’t fit it in for the upcoming tour as a review, but I am going to read it all the same and will be posting a review here soon but for now be sure to check out this lovely book!

Special Feature: The Wrong Kind of Woman by Sarah McCraw Crow

I love books about strong women and this book sounds like it’s going to be a big hit for fans of women’s fiction as well as strong female heroines that face their own personal struggles.

I think the 1960s and 70s were such a pivotal time for women and it sounds like this book is going to capitalize on many of the issues of that time period which sounds exciting.

While I could not fit this book on my review schedule for the fall, I am thrilled that I get to bring you guys a little excerpt. I hope you take a look and enjoy this little sneak peak as much as I did. If you are in a book club this one might be a fun one for your book club to discuss!
