Take Two Review: Christmas in Vermont by Anita Hughes

Sometimes I accidentally pick up a book I have already read and don’t realize it until I am part way through.

I picked this one up again because I adored the cover and I am all about the holiday romances right now and I know that I love Anita Hughes so I grabbed this one and about a third of the way through I was like wait, this sounds familiar?

I checked my Goodreads and sure enough there it was….I read it last year! But I was enjoying it just as much this second time around so I just kept right on reading! I am so glad I got to read this one again though because it was just as much fun a second time around!

Review: A Heartfelt Christmas Promise by Nancy Naigle

Just about every holiday season, I read one of Nancy Naigle’s holiday romances and I have never been disappointed. It’s like reading a Hallmark Movie, you just know without a doubt that you are going to read something sweet, fun, romantic, and full of holiday cheer!

When this book was released in October, I just didn’t have room on my calendar to review it. But this year I did something I never do. I left my December calendar really open so that I could read a bunch of holiday romances!

And this one was at the top of my list to read! I could easily have finished it in a day but then of course life got in the way so it took me a couple of days to read, but I was happy because that meant I got to drag it out a little more and enjoy all the wonderful words inside a little longer!

The stores are already getting all their holiday decor out and all the holiday reads are hitting store shelves as well. I was just at the grocery store this week and one of the checkout lines had a bunch of Christmas reads lined up tempting readers in line!

While I am still reveling in all the fall goodness right now, I am still building up my holiday reading list and Brenda Novak is one holiday romance writer to watch! Not to mention that cover is giving me major holiday vibes right now!

Today I have her latest holiday romance up for special feature and I am thrilled to bring a little bit about this one to all of you guys. If you love the Hallmark Channel and all the holiday movies then this might be the book for you. She always writes such great holiday romances so don’t miss out!

Special Feature: Return to Virgin River (Virgin River #19) by Robyn Carr

I have only read a few of Robyn Carr’s novels but I have really enjoyed the ones that I have read. I haven’t watched the Netflix series, Virgin River, yet but I know that a lot of people have been raving about it!

This is a series that I just haven’t picked up yet because there are so many books in the series. Though I think they could be read as standalone books, I would still like to read it from the beginning to get the complete experience.

Carr is such a prolific writer with a large fan base, but I think this is probably her biggest and most well known series. I think fans of Carr as well as the Virgin River series are going to be excited for this installment. Today I am so happy to bring you all a little bit about this one. It has romance, Christmas, and of course the town of Virgin River. Get excited!

Special Feature: The Christmas Table (Christmas Hope #10) by Donna VanLiere

Yes friends it might only just now be October, but the Christmas reads are coming out fast and festive right now! I actually don’t mind since it gives me a little time to get all my holiday reading list updated!

If you love Christmas themed stories then you definitely want to get this one on your radar. While this one sounds a little heavy, it also sounds heartwarming and cozy.

I love that it also has a duel timeline story but not a typical historical fiction, there is a 1970s plot and a 2000s plot so it’s not like a typical duel timeline story! If you are looking for a little holiday spirit to add to your reading then this might be the book for you!
