Have you ever fantasized about what it would be like to win the lottery? Let’s be real, we all have thought about it at one point or another especially when we see those huge Powerball numbers. Honestly what would someone do wit 500 million dollars? It’s a number the boggles the mind.
Well this book explores just that thought. Three sisters win the lottery and each sister uses those winnings in different ways and making what they think are all their dreams come true.
I love that this book sounds like it’s also going to explore the dark side of winning the lottery. It’s easy to imagine what life would be like winning the lottery but the reality I am sure is far from idillic. More money more problems or so the saying goes. I had no idea what this book was going to be about. I mean sure it had a summary of course, but in the sea of women’s fiction, many of the summaries as well as the covers tend to blend together.
I have never read anything by Jo McNally but I am very familiar with her name. McNally is a prolific writer of romances and I see her books often at the local bookstore and supermarkets.
This year has been an incredible year for reading. With the unprecedented COVID situation, I have had a lot of time to get more than some extra reading done.
This book caught my eye almost immediately. Not just because of the bright eye catching cover, but because I love mother/daughter stories and this one sounded like a new fresh perspective from debut author Saumya Dave.
