I am a huge fan of duel timeline historical fiction. I know that some readers feel that it’s overdone but I absolutely love it and I rarely get tired of it. This new release from Adrienne Chinn sounds like it’s going to be another wonderful duel timeline historical fiction and I cannot wait to read it!
Her debut novel, The Lost Letter from Morocco, sounds equally as intriguing so needless to say both of these books are on my TBR list. However this book, The English Wife, sounds absolutely wonderful and is set immediately following VE Day. The second part of the story is set in 2001 as the World Trade Centre is bombed. Both time periods make for a sensational backdrop.
If you are a historical fiction fan then this will be a book that you want on your radar and it’s been getting a lot of great early reviews. I couldn’t be more excited to share this amazing book with you guys and I hope you check it out. I will be sure to post my review here once I get to it, but until then be sure to get this one on your TBR list!
