To say that I love Kristy Woodson Harvey is a slight understatement! I adore her! I have loved all of her books and I have been looking forward to this one for quite a while.

If you love Southern fiction then you will likely have heard about Kristy Woodson Harvey but for me she is an author you have to experience for yourself. Right from the start, I really liked the sound of this novel. An unconventional mother daughter story just sounds refreshing and interesting to me.
Have you ever fantasized about what it would be like to win the lottery? Let’s be real, we all have thought about it at one point or another especially when we see those huge Powerball numbers. Honestly what would someone do wit 500 million dollars? It’s a number the boggles the mind.
I had no idea what this book was going to be about. I mean sure it had a summary of course, but in the sea of women’s fiction, many of the summaries as well as the covers tend to blend together.
At first glance, I almost passed on this book. It just didn’t stand out to me as unique when I was looking at the cover. Don’t get me wrong I love the colors in the cover, but it just seemed generic and I just didn’t find it that memorable.
