I know that Christmas is still a few months off, but I am starting to see tantalizing new Christmas romance novels popping up all over the place and I just couldn’t resist sharing a few of my most anticipated winter reading! And this one ranks right up there with one of my eager to read holiday romances!

Sheila Roberts is a prolific writer and her bread and butter seems to be her holiday romances. I have only read one of her books but I thought it was a fun escape, but it was a beach time read. So it’s with great anticipation that I read her latest holiday read, Christmas from the Heart.

I know Roberts has written a number of holiday romances that have also been turned into Hallmark movies and I can’t wait to watch a few of those as well this season! Review: Campusland by Scott Johnston

My sister works at Harvard as one of their librarians so any time I see a book about an ivy league college, I find myself drawn to it.

The summary of this book promised to include all the things that I find captivating about ivy league schools…..elitism and rich people problems. I couldn’t pass on this one because I was too drawn to the idea of it.

This is a book that I wouldn’t normally pick up in the store or really be drawn to if I’m being honest, but I liked the summary and the fact that this author is also a Yale alum. This is Scott Johnston’s first novel his having attended Yale, I think indicates he has first hand knowledge and even more authenticity to add to a book like this and made me eager to check it out. Review: Where She Went by Kelly Simmons

I had to chuckle when I read the first sentence of the summary ‘Her only daughter has just gone away to college, and Maggie O’Farrell knows she’s turning into one of those helicopter parents she used to mock.’

Having worked in a high school for eleven years in the counseling office, I know a helicopter parent when I see one and the fact that someone used that analogy in their summary felt like this book was written especially for me.

But then things take a dark turn—and you know how I love thrilling disappearance—suddenly this book sounded a lot more interesting that I anticipated. Review: Secrets of the Lighthouse by Santa Montefiore (Audible Edition)

Santa Montefiore is an author that has popped up on my radar on and off again over the last few years. I have seen her books popping up on my Goodreads recommendations and social media over the years and always plan on reading one of her books but she is a prolific writer and just wasn’t sure where to start.

I wanted something good that would captivate me right away but I just wasn’t sure where to begin. A few months ago, I nabbed this book from my local used book store—mostly for the cover. The cover is divine lets just all agree on that please!

But I shelved it and moved on to other books rather than cracking it open. So here I was six months later searching for a new audiobook to listen to while running errands. I belong to the Audible romance package where I can listen to select titles for free, so I started searching for books in their catalogue and what should pop up but this book! As many of you know, I have been a huge fan of Kristy Woodson Harvey for a long long time! Her books are wonderful and a breath of fresh Southern air each time I crack one open.

When her Peachtree Bluff series came to an end this year, I was sad to say good bye to such a fabulous place and characters, but eager to see what she would be working on next!

Her latest book, Feels Like Falling, is going to be out in April 2020 and it’s already on my calendar for review! She is one of those authors that I just put on my calendar whenever I know she has a new release coming out, she’s that good!
