Hester Fox has quickly become a favorite author of mine. I have read all of her books and every fall I look forward to a new release.
I love her story telling style, her novels are full of atmosphere and lovely Gothic elements. I can’t say enough good things about her books and am so thrilled to be sharing a bit about this upcoming book today.
I will be reading it in October and this excerpt is tempting me so much to abandon my current read in favor of this one. Please excuse me while I fan girl and gush over this book. Mexican Gothic was on my radar months ago and I have been eager to read it ever since I downloaded my ARC back in February.

The anticipation I had for this book was undeniable. I haven’t read anything by this author before, but I was in a Facebook group chat with her and won a copy of this book and couldn’t believe how good it sounded.
By all accounts this book was practically guaranteed a five star review. It had all the things I love in a Gothic tale…..the wild Cornish coast with foggy/misty mornings, a broken hero, a dark secret, an innocent but curious heroine, and so much atmosphere.
