Review: Coming Home for Christmas (Haven Point #10) by RaeAnne Thayne

Yes you saw that right, it’s one of my first Christmas reviews! I can’t believe I am already seeing a ton of holiday books hitting shelves everywhere.

While I would normally reserve October for mystery or horror novels, I have a soft spot for RaeAnne Thayne. I love her Haven Point books—especially the Christmas ones! This is my fourth book by Thayne and I couldn’t miss another chance to dip back into her cheery holiday filled world!

I have recently been reaching out for more of her books, the non Christmas ones, and look forward to picking them up more often. She is a prolific writer and her books are usually quick fun, feel good reads and sometimes you just need some fun fluff in your life and Thayne fills that fluffy spot in my heart! Review: The Light Over London by Julia Kelly

I have had this one on my radar since last year! I was so excited to be part of the paperback release and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book when it finally arrived!

WWII adds so much drama and interest for me when it comes to novels—especially those set in London. From a historical standpoint, I prefer WWI but when it comes to war time romances, WWII is where it’s at for me.

Julia Kelly has written a number of historical romance novels and this appears to be a little different than her usual books but knowing that where was a romantic element in this story made me excited to read it especially knowing she was so successful with her historical romances. Review: The Girl in the Castle (Deverill Chronicles #1) by Santa Montefiore (Audible Edition)

I read one of Santa Montefiore’s standalone novels recently and I couldn’t get enough of it. I loved Secrets of the Lighthouse and I was desperate to get my hands on another one of her novels.

I logged on to Audible and immediately downloaded this book, as the Deverill Chronicles had been highly recommended and is probably one of her most well known books.

Most of Montefiore’s novels are standalone but this book is the first in a series that spans 4 books so I knew it would be more epic in nature just based on the scope of this series and time periods each book covers. I know that Christmas is still a few months off, but I am starting to see tantalizing new Christmas romance novels popping up all over the place and I just couldn’t resist sharing a few of my most anticipated winter reading! And this one ranks right up there with one of my eager to read holiday romances!

Sheila Roberts is a prolific writer and her bread and butter seems to be her holiday romances. I have only read one of her books but I thought it was a fun escape, but it was a beach time read. So it’s with great anticipation that I read her latest holiday read, Christmas from the Heart.

I know Roberts has written a number of holiday romances that have also been turned into Hallmark movies and I can’t wait to watch a few of those as well this season! This book sounds like it’s going be a wonderful diversion all of holiday cheer, as well as a hoarily ever after! Continue reading “Special Feature: Christmas from the Heart by Sheila Roberts”
