It’s that time of year again, reading challenge time! I can hardly believe it!

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be posting my entries for various challenges here as I sign up and I will also have a special page/section devoted to my entries which will have lists of books I plan on reading.

As per usual I’ll post my reviews throughout the year and add the buttons on my sidebars.

Here is the fourth monthly meme/discussions for the Game of Thrones Reading Challenge. Yes I do realize this post is a bout 5 months late, but it’s been a busy reading year :). This month’s discussion is on A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire #4).

Review: A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire #4) by George R.R. Martin

The war of the five kings is more or less coming to an end in Westeros. One king seats the Iron Throne, but only just. His rule is in a precarious situation–one wrong move, one wrong decision, one wrong advisor….and all could be lost.

I will try to make this review as spoiler free as possible, but it is difficult not to include references from the previous three books but I will do my best but consider yourself warned.

In A Storm of Swords, so much happened. It was action packed from beginning to end, so as expected, A Feast for Crows, chronicles what happens in the aftermath of the battle.

Readers will quickly notice many of the typical POV characters are absent from this book, though a couple of favorites make an appearance. The POV characters in this book are: Cersei Lannister, Jaime Lannister, Arya Stark, Brienne of Tarth, Sansa Stark, Samwell Tarly, Aeron Greyjoy, Victarion Greyjoy, Arianne Martell, and Asha Greyjoy.
