As many of you know, I have been a huge fan of Kristy Woodson Harvey for a long long time! Her books are wonderful and a breath of fresh Southern air each time I crack one open.

When her Peachtree Bluff series came to an end this year, I was sad to say good bye to such a fabulous place and characters, but eager to see what she would be working on next!

Her latest book, Feels Like Falling, is going to be out in April 2020 and it’s already on my calendar for review! She is one of those authors that I just put on my calendar whenever I know she has a new release coming out, she’s that good! On my blog I pride myself in exploring multiple different genres of books and I am so thankful that I have maintained that for so long. I have discovered so many new and exciting books that are out of my comfort zone or just plain new to me authors that I normally wouldn’t have discovered on my own.

Jennifer Ryan’s new book The Me I Used to Be is one of those books I might have missed and am so glad that I didn’t! Ryan is a new to me author and has written a number of cowboy romances as well as more contemporary romances and women’s fiction.

Sometimes persistence pays off. This book was pitched to me at least four times for review and each time I passed. Not because I didn’t want to read it, I just didn’t think I could fit it in anywhere close to the review date.

It wasn’t until the book physically arrived at my house that I took some real stock of my review calendar to see if I could accommodate this book. The publicist for this book raved about it with such passion that I felt compelled to work it in. I hate missing out on great books simply for calendar purposes so I made it happen.

Review: A Family of Strangers by Emilie Richards

This is a book that I was looking forward to for quite some time. I was really interested in the family dynamics in this summary, especially since I am the oldest sister and my younger sister and I are in constant completion with each other.

I thought this one would yield interesting family relationships and dynamics as well as present a fascinating mystery with lots of things to question and debate.

Plus this author has written a number of books, most of which are women fiction or romance, sprinkled with a few mysteries. This one sounded like it was going to be a little darker and more complex than her usual books. I have never read anything by this author before, but I was eager to discover her style and writing.
