Nicci French has written a number of standalone mysteries as well as the acclaimed Frida Klein series. I have read only one of French’s standalone books,
I feel like I timed this read just right. I had just finished reading a Sebastian St Cyr mystery that featured the Hope Diamond or the French Blue and I was eager to read this one because it too featured the diamond I had been reading about.
The Burial Society was a book that was released last year that I tried to work into my review schedule but I just couldn’t swing it. I had no idea that it was going to be turned into a series but I am thrilled to see that this new release is a follow up the Sadowsky’s acclaimed novel!
